I missed you yesterday. Some days are tough but your so close to taking a break. You have lost a lot of weight . Keep your eye on the prize. Dr. T has a supplement that should help with the blood sugar dips.
Can you share the way you prepare your food and places you have found your organic goods/
Again I hope you get this reply okay – am not sure I did it right!
Thanks for the encouragement, your support really helps a lot. My favorite and brain-dead easy on-the-go lunch is chopped grilled chicken in a container with organic cubed cucumber, apple cider vinegar, sea salt and cracked black pepper. I put it in the fridge the night before and it kind of marinates and gets better by the next day. You could probably put basil or something in it and that would be good too. I always take it with me when I see you and Dr T. We live 1/2 hour away in Tempe, so I have it before I leave for home so I can stay on schedule and not let my blood sugar get too low driving home. Sprouts is one place I can find good organic cauliflower, cabbage and beets. Whole Foods has frozen organic asparagus – but get the frozen whole stalks guys, the chopped pieces are hard and tough! Unfortunately, you have to cook even the whole stalks for a while (and lose some vitamins) to even get them tender enough, but they are good in a pinch to keep on hand in the freezer. I just can’t find fresh organic anywhere and I have to be careful not to eat too much cruciferous vegetables because of my thyroid concerns. Also, I like getting fresh organic strawberries at Trader Joe’s. You get twice as much for a good price than anywhere else. Talk to you soon ~~~ Kathy
